As a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience I have been chosen as the “right” therapist by thousands of clients. In my current practice I see individuals 18 and older. I consider myself an eclectic practitioner who puts great emphasis on connection and trust. Taking direction from you, combined with my extensive knowledge of human behavior, I offer evidence based therapeutic interventions that best fit your needs. I have a personal and professional interest in health and wellness and incorporate into my practice a holistic, integrative approach to enhancing emotional well being through nutrition, lifestyle adjustments and mind-body techniques.

Services
Individual therapy
Initial Assessment
Your first visit sets the stage for the work we will do together. Before your appointment you will be asked to fill out an intake questionnaire that will provide me some basic information about you and your reason for seeking therapy. Additional questionnaires may be needed based on issues or concerns discussed during our free phone consultation. During this 60 minute session I will review your information and will be asking you additional questions about your needs, wants, expectations and goals for therapy.
Follow-up sessions
These sessions last 50 minutes and are totally tailored to your individual needs, focusing on your identified issues and concerns. I am committed to your wellness and want you to get the most out of our time together. By using a blended style of treatment modalities I can address what is on your mind.
Integrative Mental Health
I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP). As a therapist with this certification I am trained to incorporate integrative approaches into mental health treatment. I take into consideration factors like nutrition, physical activity, sleep and other lifestyle and health factors to support my clients’ overall wellbeing.
Fees & Insurance
Insurance
Headwaters Counseling, PLLC, is contracted with Blue Cross of Idaho, Select Health, St Luke’s Health Plan, Regence, PacificSource, Aetna, BPA and Mountain Health Co-op. As with any provider, we will bill your insurance as a courtesy but are unable to guarantee coverage/benefits. Any co-insurance/co-payment is due at the time of service.
Private pay
This form of payment for therapy is preferred by individuals who desire a highly individualized experience and those who want to ensure enhanced confidentiality and privacy without the involvement of an insurance company. Private pay allows for full treatment flexibility without restrictions on number of sessions, treatment methods or diagnostic requirements placed by a third party.
Payment is due at the time of service. Headwaters Counseling, PLLC, accepts all major credit cards, cash, check, health savings accounts (HSA) and medical flexible spending accounts (FSA)
